Sublimation

At Faryal Designs, we like to always try and experiment with all the materials our customers are wishing to use for their latest projects. This year we added sublimation blanks to our store! How exciting!

This was great fun as we got to play around with some of the blanks before they were added to the website.

With working with any new material a lot of trial and error is needed to perfect the technique. With the plethora of different sublimation inks, papers and heat presses out there, we always recommended to start with a small project and allow room for improvement.

Note: Always check the recommend settings for your sublimation paper and heat press.

These are the settings I used with my Vevor tumbler heat press:

- 60 seconds at 210 degrees Celsius

- rotate

- 30 - 45 seconds at 210 degrees Celsius

- make sure you have applied a heat resistant tape very carefully around the sub paper and your substrate (blank).
